THE EDINBURGH B-TEAM

Here’s a wee poster design I just did for local film fanatics The Edinburgh B-Team, who gather every Monday evening in The Banshee Labyrinth on Niddry Street to celebrate all things weird and wonderful about 80s cinema.

Pop along if you’re at a loose end, it’s always a good night!

Nice to see one of our designs in the wild. One of the banners used by one of our client firms who were sponsoring a local event.

ART UNLIMITED POSTER

art unlimited poster (online)

I was recently asked by the good people of The Serenity Cafe in Edinburgh’s Holyrood area to design a poster for a series of art tutorials they are running.

If you live in the area and feel an urge to unleash your own inner artiste, then why not pop down?

Don’t forget to say I sent ya!

AID & ABET BENEFIT POSTER

I was recently commissioned by local arts promoter Sadie Beauchamp to design this poster advertising a benefit gig she was promoting for local organisation Aid & Abet. They are a peer-led organisation, using real-life experience of the prison system to offer mentorship to people upon their release.

Sadie herself is a very talented artist and the face design in the poster is inspired by one of her own paintings.

THE BLUEBIRD CAFE

Recently I was lucky enough to be asked to design some artwork for The Bluebird Cafe in Cannonmills by it’s owner Kylie Macgregor. The cafe was inspired by her travels on a Harley Davidson on the east coast of America, visiting places like Memphis, Nashville, Key West, Alabama, Atlanta and St Louis and by her love of country music and good ole southern food and hospitality. It’s a lovely, warm and friendly place to grab a bite to eat and a coffee, so pop by next time you’re in the neighbourhood, and don’t forget to say I sent ya!
